Dortmund, 7 September 2023 – The partnership between InterTabac and InterSupply and the Independent European Vape Alliance (IEVA) was announced back in June. The IEVA has initiated the Global Vape Alliance (GVA) in conjunction with the Electronic Cigarette Industry Committee of the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce (ECCC), the Vapor Technology Association (VTA) and the UK Vaping Industry Association (UKVIA). The Get Together on 13 September, organised by ECCC and IEVA with the support of the VTA and UKVIA, will also see the GVA founders sign the Global Vape Alliance Declaration which aims to coordinate global resources and promote sustainable development as well as cooperation between vaping businesses. The first-ever Get Together will take place at Messe Dortmund between 19:00 and 23:00 hrs, and the aim is to establish the event as a meeting place for key figures in the vaping industry. 110 participants from 16 countries across four continents have registered for the Get Together.

Aside from the Get Together, the twin shows will play host to a wide range of exhibitors in the vaping segment presenting the latest products to trade visitors. Vaping enthusiasts will find all their hearts’ desires in Halls WH, 1, 1B and 2, with some vaping-related exhibitors also in Halls 6 and 8. Exhibitors will include InnoCigs and InTrade Concepts from Germany, VapeDinnerLady, Pod Salt and Vapegold from the UK, IzyVape from Croatia, Smoore from China, Xtra from the United Arab Emirates and Keva Flavours from India. In all, the twin shows will play host to around 150 vaping exhibitors from all over the world – businesses which have chosen to specialise either entirely or at least partially in the vaping segment. For trade visitors, this promises an all-encompassing overview of the entire vaping industry.

Dustin Dahlmann, Chairman of the IEVA, is enthusiastic about the line-up: “The Independent European Vape Alliance is proud to be a partner of the highly respected twin shows InterTabac and InterSupply. We look forward to the opportunity to present the messages of the responsible vaping industry to a wide international audience. The IEVA is committed to a nuanced public perception and regulation of e-cigarettes as a harm-reducing alternative to smoking, and InterTabac and InterSupply provide the right forum for continuing to publicise this – in 2023 and beyond.”

In addition to the wide range of exhibitors, InterTabac and InterSupply will also be presenting an exciting supporting programme for vaping enthusiasts including speed fire presentations by KIWI, Flonq, ALD Group, AQUIOS and ANDS GLOBE UK at 14:00 hrs on Thursday 14 September. This will be followed from 16:00 hrs by a debate featuring Dustin Dahlmann (IEVA), Will Ao (ECCC), John Dunne (UKVIA) and Tony Abboud (VTA) on ‘Ongoing challenges in the vaping industry – the need for collaboration’. Then on Friday 15 September, the Chinese trade medium 2Firsts – one of the 30 partners of InterTabac and InterSupply – will present global e-cigarette trends and forecasts for 2024 starting at 14:45 hrs.

Another highlight on September 15 will be the panel discussion “The Next Phase in Reduced Harm Products – Insights from industry and experts” at 3:15 p.m. in the conference area of InterTabac.
